Hospitality consultancy mission : net zero have teamed up with social enterprise, Clean the World, to help drive forwards their global hygiene revolution.
Clean the World distributes recycled soap and hygiene products from more than 8,000+ hotel and resort partners to children and families in countries with a high death rate due to acute respiratory infection (pneumonia) and diarrheal diseases (cholera).
Through our engagement with hotel clients, we advocate Clean the World’s Waste reduction program which ensures soap and bottled amenity products are recycled. This not only helps save lives, it also protects the environment and preserves natural resources, and can reduce hotels costs with leading amenity distributors often including the modest Clean the World fees within their standard charges.

Simon Catterick, CEO of mission : net zero comments: “European hotels are becoming increasingly aware of their need to embrace a transparent environmental, sustainability and social (ESG) impact roadmap – and this waste recycling programme is a great addition to a hotelier’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment. This collaboration is significant for us because it means we can inform our network about the brilliant work Clean the World is doing for the hospitality sector, and can help clients reduce costs too.”
Tommie Eaton, Director, Business Development Clean the World Europe comments: “We are excited about our partnership with mission : net zero – Simon, Jane and their team bring a wealth of experience from the hospitality industry into the Clean the World family. It’s an extremely exciting time for us now that we are fully operational in the UK, which means we can expand the success and impact of the hospitality programme in America over to Europe and the UK with new and existing hotel partners. We believe this partnership marks the start of an array of opportunities to make a positive impact between the two organisations.”
