With socially responsible hospitality businesses using Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria to measure the sustainability and ethical impact of a business we are delighted to be working with their management and the property’s ‘green team’ to develop a range of environmental, sustainability and social impact initiatives specific to the hospitality industry.
Together we will develop a programme that will see Lost Property hotel earn prestigious, independent eco-certification from Green Key International, reflecting the ESG commitments of owners, UK based real estate company, Dominus. Green Key accreditation is acknowledged worldwide as an indicator of excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation in the hospitality sector.
A net zero methodology will be developed that is focused on areas including Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 carbon measurement, compensation, and reduction. Together with environmental management, water saving, waste management, renewable energy, local food and drink options, biodiversity, community involvement, staff and guest engagement, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Our ongoing ESG management services will enable the hotel’s ‘green team’ to collect sustainability data, track performance and progress over time, report activities in a transparent way, and improve the sustainability performance of Lost Property hotel, in the short, medium and long term.
