The Green Key award sets the standard for excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the hospitality and tourism sector. The Green Key award is a Foundation for Environmental Education programme and is managed in England by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy. The Green Key award is recognised by the World Tourism Organization (WTO) and UN Environment Programme (UNEP) as addressing the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
