With socially responsible investors using Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria to measure the sustainability and ethical impact of a business we are delighted to be working with Kym Kapadia, Tim Shearman and the team at experienced advisory, consultancy, asset management and management services company Four Corners Hospitality Group (FCHG) to develop a range of environmental, sustainability and social impact initiatives for the real estate sector and others specific to the hospitality industry.
Projects include delivering a BREEAM Official In-Use sustainability assessment, being an internationally recognised certification scheme that will benchmark, and certify the performance of the built environment to determine and drive sustainable improvements in the performance of the building.
Together we will develop a programme that will see Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch earn prestigious, independent eco-certification from Green Key International, which is acknowledged worldwide as an indicator of excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation in the hospitality sector.
Mission : Net Zero will develop a Net Zero methodology that is focused on areas including Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 carbon measurement, compensation and reduction together with environmental management, water saving, waste management, renewable energy, local food and drink, biodiversity, community involvement, staff and guest engagement, and corporate social responsibility.
The introduction of an internationally recognised hotel sustainability management system, developed by industry experts for hotels and hotel companies will enable FCHG to collect sustainability data, track performance and progress over time, report activities in a transparent way, and to improve the sustainability performance of Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch.
