We are delighted to welcome hospitality superstar Jane Kendrick to mission : net zero as Chief Operations Officer.
Jane brings over thirty years experience working in the hospitality industry with proven expertise across operations, hotel design and openings, procurement of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), OS&E (operating supplies and equipment) and IT, and facilities and project management.

Jane’s career in hotel operations started with small-scale IHG franchisees which saw her manage hotel openings across the UK and Europe. Jane’s commitment and success saw her join Cycas Hospitality, a pan-European, multi-brand, all-segment hotel operator which saw her promoted to Director and Partner. This involved working with global hotel brands proprietary ESG and CSR platforms to monitor & measure activities in relation to energy, carbon, water, waste, employee engagement, community involvement and social impact. Responsible for multi-million pound budgets and an impressive portfolio of hotels, Jane has built a renowned reputation within the hospitality sector.
Simon Catterick, a hospitality sector veteran, launched mission : net zero in the midst of Covid19, and with the industry dusting itself off from the pandemic, we’ve seen a positive step-change in attitude towards sustainability.
This year, the mission : net zero team have been working with a growing portfolio of limited service and full service hotels operating under global brands and leading independent 5-star venues who want to develop their environmental, sustainability and social impact goals. Jane will have overall supervisory responsibility for the entire company’s operations and be the bridge to ensure the strategic vision translates into profitable operations.
