The Dixon Hotel joins forces with mission : net zero

We’ve had a great start to the week meeting with our newest client The Dixon, Tower Bridge, which operates within the Marriott International Autograph Collection portfolio of independent upscale and luxury hotels.

Occupying an awe-inspiring building that dates from 1905, when it served as the Tower Bridge Magistrates Court, The Dixon is near to Tower Bridge and London Bridge and captures all the culture, creativity and variety of its London SE1 postcode. The Grade II-listed building is steeped in history but inspired by the contemporary character and culture of its vibrant neighbourhood. Its 193 rooms and suites, lounges and restaurant enjoy an edgy, eclectic design aesthetic and an upscale boutique hotel atmosphere.

With socially responsible businesses like owner, Dominus a UK based real estate company focused on regeneration, hotel, residential,  purpose built student accommodation (PBSA), build to rent (BTR) and commercial real estate sectors using Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria to measure the sustainability and ethical impact of a business we are delighted to be working with Cluster General Manager, Hasham Soliman and The Dixon’s ‘Green Team’.

Together we will develop a range of environmental, sustainability and social impact initiatives that will see The Dixon earn prestigious, independent eco-certification from Green Key International that is acknowledged worldwide as an indicator of excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation in the hospitality sector.

We will oversee a range of strategies including carbon footprint measurement, energy management, water saving, waste initiatives, local supply chain, biodiversity, community involvement, team participation, guest engagement, and corporate social responsibility programmes. Our ongoing management services will enable the hotel’s ‘green team’ to collect sustainability data, track performance and progress over time, report activities in a transparent way, and improve the sustainability performance of The Dixon, in the short, medium and long term.

If interested in a discussion as to how we can help you meet your environmental, sustainability and social impact commitments for the hospitality sector please contact us at hello@mission-netzero.co.uk or call +44 (0)1223 750676
